The grand inauguration program of Visit Nepal 2020 was organized today at Dashrath Stadium. Visit Nepal 2020 is governments campaign to invite 2 million tourists in the country.President Bidhya Devi Bhandari inaugurated the program by lightening the flame of Unity.  The program was conducted successfully by organizing various cultural programs. Various dignitaries like Ministers, actors, businessmen, guests from foreign countries and celebrities were present in the ceremony.


During the ceremony, President Bidhya Devi Bhandari said that everyone should contribute from their side to make VNY successful. " Nepal is the world's best tourism destination, as it is rich in its culture and tradition," she said. She also mentioned that our hospitality is one of the most special quality and we should try to attract tourists by promoting the beauty of Nepal.
Also, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai said," With this campaign, we have to lead our country towards the path of prosperity. On this occasion, I want to convey this message internationally that Nepal is a peaceful country and there is a suitable place for investment. "

The national song of VNY 2020 was also launched at the program. Likewise, Yeti's Mascot decorated with the art of various artists were also launched during the program. The program also consisted of March pass of various communities, organizations, associations and educational institutions. The huge mass of the audience enjoyed the musical performances and cultural dances.
